Katie writes and edits e-commerce roundups, content for syndication on MSN, and refreshes and lengthens outdated stories for She also works on social media for the site. Katie was an Arts & Society reporter for Loyola’s newspaper for three years and then Copy Chief her senior year. As a reporter, she focused on entertainment and pop culture news. The newspaper switched to entirely online her final year. In her position as copy chief, she worked under a 24-hour turnaround and edited all articles for content and grammar.

Acts4Youth Public Relations

Katie worked with Acts4Youth, a non-profit that serves at-risk children living in Baltimore City, as part of her PR capstone class. Her team had three goals: (1) increase presence in the Baltimore community & announce its expansion to a third location, (2) increase participation with the Loyola University Maryland community, and (3) assist in engaging Acts4Youth supporters at its May 26, 2016 banquet.
